I’m delighted to share the cover of my new picture book Little Matilda, with stunning illustrations by Shaney Hyde. This will be the first in the series featuring Little Matilda the kitten, and will be released early in 2022. More details coming soon.
– 20 November 2021 We had glorious weather, gorgeous surroundings and great company at our annual SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) Sketch and Scribble event at the Melbourne Botanic Gardens. It was terrific to connect with other children’s writers and illustrators and spend time sketching, writing and chatting.

– August 21-27 2021 Book week is a wonderful way for children to celebrate books and Australian authors and illustrators. Many libraries and schools encourage children to dress up as their favourite book character. Aren’t these Lazy Daisy Koalas gorgeous? (The baby’s father is a teacher who had a virtual book parade.)
